Giethoorn is a beautiful Dutch village also know as the 'Venice of the North'. There are no cars, no roads and, in true Dutch fashion, the only mode of transport is boat!

We are a family of five from the UK. Travel as a family of five can be challenging at times, but here at Well Travelled Munchkins we have a real passion for budget-friendly and meaningful family travel.
