Breakfast at the Sheraton Dubrovnik Riviera Croatia was discounted for Well Travelled Munchkins. All opinions and words are our own.
We have found that going out to dinner with small kids can be tricky. Dinner times aren’t generally when they are at their best. It’s too close to bedtime, they are getting tired from a busy day and dinner can be an uphill struggle. But, there is another option. Going out for breakfast! That’s exactly what we did at the Sheraton Dubrovnik Riviera in Croatia.
We went out for breakfast at the Sheraton Dubrovnik Riviera in Croatia and it revolutionised the way we take ourselves out for a foodie treat as a young family! It’s more relaxed, everyone is hungry and you can eat as much as you like!
The Hotel – Sheraton Dubrovnik Riviera Croatia
The Sheraton Dubrovnik Riviera sits beautifully in the bay of Srebreno, which is located about 4 km away from Dubrovnik. The hotel is a well designed building that doesn’t compete with the beautiful pine and palm trees that surround the bay. And even though the place is huge the hotel doesn’t feel out of place.
The hotel’s design is contemporary and classy, just as it should be in such a beautiful part of the world, and feels fresh and modern inside.
Breakfast at the Sheraton Dubrovnik Riviera Croatia
At the Sheraton breakfast is served until 10am and is €18 per adult. Breakfast is a buffet style affair where you can eat as much as you like!
We found the whole experience really good value. If you consider two coffees from a coffee shop will set you back €6 and for the duration of the time we were there I had at least four cups!
The best thing about having breakfast at the Sheraton Dubrovnik Riviera is that they offer anything and everything you could possibly want!
The waiters are extremely friendly. They helped us get the kids settled by bringing coffees of our choice to the table. The first twenty minutes we were busy getting two rather excited kids settled and these small acts of kindness didn’t go unappreciated by my husband and myself.
Food on Offer
When we told our little girl we were going for a ‘posh’ breakfast she was so excited! When we arrived at the Sheraton her little voice was loud and her feet were in overdrive as she pounced from the fruit bar; the pancakes; the omelette making station; cured meats and cheese; a whole table of freshly made fruit smoothies and seeds and nuts of every variety to sprinkle on yogurts of every colour!
In all fairness to my four year old, she had good reason to be excited. The food looked absolutely delicious and we were all eager to dive in!
There were rows of hot plates filled with cook breakfast foods such as sausages, eggs, bacon, beans and mushrooms; every flavour and design of tea and coffee you could think of; cakes and pastries including semolina cakes that are sweet little pots of scrumminess; salmon and dried fishes; and baskets full of fresh fruit!
So as you can imagine, as soon as the food touched the table it’s was pretty much gone! No time for nice blog pictures i’m afraid!
But, in my mind this is the best compliment my two munchkins could have given breakfast at the Sheraton Dubrovnik Riviera. They ate everything! If you have picky eaters there is so much on offer you would be hard pressed to not find something for every palate.

Lasting Memories
Breakfast at the Sheraton Dubrovnik Riviera gave us the opportunity to spend a few hours sitting in a beautiful setting with several good coffees looking out over the twinkling waters of Srebreno bay. We watched the boats zipping about with the first tourists of the day and the mountains appearing hazy in the morning sun. We left feeling we had been really spoilt.
Looks lovely! One of these days, I’ll get to Croatia.
Looks stunning. I love a buffet breakfast!
